As you might know, I work for a company called Ordina here in Belgium. In the Netherlands there is also a company called Ordina — and yes, they’re part of the same group 😊.
So we teamed up: one guy from each company co-presenting a session. I’m the guy from Ordina Belgium, and Bert Clevering will be the one from Ordina Netherlands.

Title: Apps, Apps, Apps
Description: Show and tell the usage and development of Office Apps, SharePoint Apps, and Apps in general. The new cloud app model gives you maximum choice and flexibility to build a new class of apps for Office and SharePoint using familiar languages and tools. Ordina will show you, with 2 developers, how to combine the 3 app types into one solution. We’ll also show you how you can administer your SharePoint farm via SharePoint Apps.
My Demo Scenario
Lists and libraries are no longer called that in SharePoint 2013 — instead they’re called Apps.
My SharePoint App contains 2 Apps inside:
- A list with comments
- A document library containing Word documents
Inside those Word documents is an Office App (task pane) that checks if comments have been given about that specific document. If yes, it shows them — right inside Word.
All of this lives in one single Visual Studio solution.
